Each "Welcome Home, Hickory Metro" Weekend, we partner with NC 4 Military Employment (NC4ME), the USO of NC and NCWorks to organize and host a Hiring Event: 14 companies, with more than 50 types of positions and 100+ openings participated at the most recent Hiring Event in April 2018.

It's not just a job fair. This is real face-time with decision makers.

This Hiring Event turns the traditional "job fair" model upside down.  Unlike the wasted time and dim prospects of a job fair, registered job seekers are "matched" prior to the event AND actually interview for a position(s) based on company need and your interests.

This model gives you the face-to-face opportunity to highlight your skills and background, increasing your likelihood to secure a 2nd interview and eventually a new career.
