Daily Lunch
We serve a hot, delicious lunch every weekday to Hickory's hungry and homeless. In 2016, our average was more than 215 people and 300+ plates of food, every day. Stop by and join us for lunch to see  –  and taste!  –  our work for yourself! 
 
Showers
When surveyed about their needs, our guests said their #2 concern (after food) was a safe place to get clean. Our new building features private shower stalls, similar to those at your local gym. About 25 people use our facilities each day during business hours. We also provide towels, soap, and other hygiene products for men and women. 
 
Groceries
For families who need a little extra help, we offer a take-home bag of groceries once each month. Contents may vary by season and what has been donated, but we try to include fresh produce, fruit, and meats along with easy-to-store items like bread, staples and canned goods. 
 
Library
Feeding minds and imaginations! Our guests are free to "check out" books or magazines from our Library. Kids' books are popular!
